Cyrcus Collective provides interactive, experiential, arts-based activities. We are always imagining new possibilities, but the following describe some of our current content.
1-2-3 : COLOR – SCAN – PROJECT
The children cut out and color paper objects which are then photographed and projected onto an animated digital video.
Using a combination of motion sensors and digital projection, the child is able to playfully interact with a projection surface. For example, a child can grab a star from a digitally projected sky or see their own face and body interact with digital artwork.
The children record themselves and other sounds in the surrounding area. The sounds are then used to create instruments, and the children can experiment with adding audio
effects and sequencing to build their own song.
MASKS AND ORIGAMI
In a workshop setting we provide instruction to make origami figures or artistic face masks. The children can customize these objects with color and additional details. The individual forms are later able to interact with a digitally projected environment.
STARRY NIGHT PROJECTION
A room is turned into a night sky. Children watch the progression of the stars while a pre-recorded story is narrated in their language.
